HAWAII’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE AT
3.2 PERCENT IN OCTOBER
Non-Agricultural Jobs up 14,000 over-the-year

HONOLULU — The Hawaii State Department of Labor & Industrial Relations (DLIR) today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for October was 3.2 percent, down from 3.3 percent in September. Statewide, 670,950 were employed and 21,850 unemployed in October for a total seasonally adjusted labor force of 692,800. Nationally, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.9 percent in October, down from 5.0 percent in September.
