HAWAI‘I’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE AT  2.6 PERCENT IN NOVEMBER

Jobs Increase by 3,100 Over-the-Year

HONOLULU — The Hawai‘i State Department of Labor & Industrial Relations (DLIR) today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for November was 2.6 percent, compared to 2.7 percent in August to October. Statewide, 645,250 were employed and 17,500 unemployed in November for a total seasonally adjusted labor force of 662,750. Nationally, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.5 percent in November, compared to 3.6 percent in October.
