PEUC 2 FAQs

A: PEUC 2 provides 11 weeks of additional benefits to eligible claimants that have exhausted their PEUC 1 (PEUC that offered 13 weeks of benefits) starting the week ending January 2, 2021.
Q: How long is PEUC 2?
A: A: The duration of the PEUC 2 program is from December 27, 2020 to March 14, 2021. The first payable week is the week ending January 2, 2021. There is a phaseout period from March 14, 2021 to April 10, 2021 for claimants that have a remaining PEUC 2 balance and received benefits for the week ending March 13, 2021. Thus, if you receive benefits for the week ending March 13, 2021 and have a remaining PEUC 2 balance, you are eligible to participate in the phaseout period and may continue to collect PEUC through week ending April 10, 2021.
