HAWAII’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE AT 3.3 PERCENT IN JUNE
Non-Agricultural Jobs up 14,700 over-the-year
HONOLULU — The Hawaii State Department of Labor & Industrial Relations (DLIR) today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for June was 3.3 percent, up from 3.2 percent in May. Statewide, 662,500 were employed and 22,850 unemployed in June for a total seasonally adjusted labor force of 685,350. Nationally, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.9 percent in June, rising from 4.7 percent in May.
