4,800 Increase in Non-Farm Jobs Over the year
HONOLULU — the Hawaii State Department of Labor & Industrial Relations today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for June was 4.4 percent, the same as in May. Statewide, there were 632,450 employed and 29,150 unemployed in June, for a total seasonally adjusted labor force of 661,550. Nationally, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 6.1 percent in June, down from 6.3 in May.
