HiTool – Annual Electronic Submission (#7)

Instructions: Use the tool to help determine if your establishment is required to electronically submit OSHA injury and illness records (i.e., form 300A, 300, or 301 data) to OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application (ITA). Respond to the prompts as they appear, which will be determined based on your correct answers. There are 7 questions total. 

Important Notice:

  • This ONLY addresses establishments’ requirement to submit data to OSHA electronically through the ITA. It does not address other HIOSH recordkeeping requirements for those within HIOSH’s jurisdiction.
  • See HIOSH’s recordkeeping website at www.labor.hiosh.gov/recordkeeping for information about other recordkeeping requirements and review the HIOSH standard.
