Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker (MSFW) Outreach Program
The Workforce Development Division’s (WDD) Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker (MSFW) Outreach Program collaborates with community-based organizations (National Farmworker Jobs Program) to offer the full range of employment services to agricultural employers and farmworkers.
The MSFW Outreach Staff assist farmworkers who otherwise would not have access to services provided at with the American Job Center (AJC) on each of the four major islands. Outreach services are designed to be conducted where they work, live, and gather to ensure farmworkers receive equitable and timely services.
The MSFW Outreach Staff provide information to farmworkers at no cost, including available workforce development services, labor law protection resources, Unemployment and State Disability benefits, and support services. Information on employment resources, worker rights, job referrals and support services available through the WDD and its partners is also provided.
