The below are FAQs developed by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DLIR) and DLIR’s federal partners related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.  As the COVID-19 pandemic is an evolving situation, these FAQs are subject to change with new information.

NOTE:

  • UI benefits for self-employed persons, bona fide independent contractors, and others who are disqualified from receiving UI for COVID-19-related reasons may be covered through the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program under the CARES Act.  Please file your claim at this site.

FRAUD ALERT:
